Grateful for a beautiful Spring day.
Grateful for my school system who supplied NASA glasses for all to wear.
Grateful for an administration who encouraged us to take our Period 7 students outside to enjoy the unique show in the sky.
Glad I took part in this event today.
The next one is to occur in 2044. I’ll only be 81 years young!
I hated to miss this but I’m glad to see it vicariously through your writing and photos. I’m glad someone got a photo of you! And I love seeing all the little crescent shadows, I had forgotten about that!

I purposely wrote this slice for you because I knew you were missing it. Your slice of being in the park is so lovely and so worth missing the eclipse back home!!

Sally,
I’ve enjoyed sharing the eclipse vicariously today. We had a good show in 2017 but not much today. I’ll be 85 when the next one rolls around. 🤞🏻

Glad you got to see it (and happy to see it vicariously through many eyes).

Lots of gratitude in this piece. It did make me appreciate how much the sun gives us.

Sally, I love that you figured out how old you’d be for the next eclipse! The pictures are great, and show the gratitude and joy you experienced seeing the eclipse.
